Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you shop with ALHEMERA, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep this deliberately short, because we collect deliberately little.

What we collect

When you place an order, we record:

• Your name and email address
• Your shipping address
• What you ordered, and what you paid

If you browse without ordering, your bag is stored in your own browser and never reaches us.

Payment information

We never see your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own hosted checkout page. Your card number is submitted directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, and the billing details you chose to share.

Stripe processes this as an independent data controller under their own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

How we use it

• To take payment, pack your order and ship it
• To email you a confirmation and a shipping notification
• To answer you if you contact us about an order
• To keep the records we are required to keep for tax purposes

We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

Who else is involved

• Stripe — payment processing
• Our hosting and email providers — running the site and delivering order emails
• Shipping carriers — we pass them your address so your order can arrive

Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we are required to retain them for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally obliged to keep.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond as promptly as we can.

Cookies

We use only what the site needs to function — your shopping bag is kept in your browser's local storage, and a session cookie is used if you sign in to the shop's admin. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
