These terms cover buying from ALHEMERA. Placing an order means accepting them.
Orders
An order is confirmed once payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email with an order number. Until then, nothing is reserved.
Occasionally we may need to cancel an order — if an item turns out to be unavailable, or if we spot a pricing error. If that happens we will refund you in full and tell you why. We will never charge you a different amount than the one shown at checkout.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars. The total shown in your bag before payment — items, any discount, and shipping — is what you will be charged. Any applicable tax is shown separately at checkout.
Discount codes
Discount codes may carry conditions: a minimum order value, an expiry date, a limit on total uses, one use per customer, or applying only to particular products. Your bag will tell you if a code doesn't apply and why. Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged. We may withdraw a code at any time, though doing so will not affect an order already placed.
Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. By paying you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.

About the products
Our products are cosmetics, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Ingredients are listed on every product page and on the packaging — please read them if you have allergies or sensitivities, and patch test if your skin is reactive.
Because everything is made in small batches by hand, colour, scent and marbling vary slightly between bars. That is a property of the process, not a fault.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
