Shipping & Returns

Everything is made and packed by hand in small batches, so here is exactly what to expect — and what happens if something isn't right.

Dispatch

Orders are wrapped by hand and shipped within two business days. You will receive an email with tracking as soon as your parcel leaves us. Everything ships in plastic-free packaging.

Where we ship

We currently ship within the United States and Canada. Shipping is calculated in your bag before you pay, and orders above the current free-shipping threshold ship at no cost — the exact figure is shown in your bag.

If something arrives damaged

Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph. We will replace it or refund it — you will not be asked to return a damaged item.

If you simply changed your mind

Unopened, unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item was damaged or we sent the wrong thing.

For reasons of hygiene, we cannot accept returns of soap, serum or oil that has been opened or used — unless there is a fault with it, in which case the paragraph above applies instead.

If a bar disappoints you

Tell us. Even outside the windows above, if a product genuinely isn't right we would rather hear about it and put it right than have you not come back.

How refunds work

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Once we process one you will receive an email confirming the amount. Depending on your bank it can take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

Partial refunds are possible — for example, refunding one item from a larger order. The confirmation email will state exactly what was returned.

Starting a return

Email info@alhemera.com with your order number (it begins ALH- and is on your confirmation email) and what you would like to happen. We will reply with instructions.
